sundaynightat8 originally started in 2010, when Jamie Tyson first went to college. Toting his keyboard with him, he wanted to write his own music while he was away. Truth be told, this never happened. While he only wrote one song for said project, he never got the opportunity to record the song. Thus, the blog began to sit, accomplishing absolutely nothing.

Until, one day, that Jamie decided the blog needed to be dealt with. However, he was so attached to the blog’s handle, sundaynighton.tumblr.com, that he couldn’t bear to part with it. Instead, he decided to enlist the help of a fellow wordsmith, Erin Walker, and start a creative writing blog.

And so goes the story of sundaynightat8, dedicated to bringing the best we can give from ourselves, for you, the audience.
