Fun in the sun is what summer should be.

But summer means another 4 hour drive to see

my family and friends, and let them know that

I haven’t really done anything to show for their enthusiastic

support of my education.

Another “vacation” waiting to hear back from Dreamworks

knowing my cover letter sounded better read aloud in my bedroom.

Another summer as Executive Manager at J.C. Office Maintenance.

Another summer of excruciating patience because I thought I’d give it a couple days to relay my options.

Another summer of my dad encouraging that I get a social life

and that I go out every weekend.

But what do I know, he’s the one with the girlfriend.
